The Walker Center offers an intensive summer total immersion residential English Language Program for students interested to enter American secondary and post-secondary academic institutions. Walker LEEP is unique in that we combine intensive English language training with cross-cultural communication, and acculturation orientation to the American academic experience.

English Language Studies
Walker LEEP participants spend four weeks in intensive English language classes with focus on verbal and written communication, oral and reading comprehension, as well as formal and informal social interaction.

Academic and Cultural Immersion
Afternoons can be spend going to a Boston Red Sox baseball game, visiting the many museums in Boston and shopping in famous trendy Newbury Street and Copley Place Mall. LEEP participants will also visit the world famous universities in Greater Boston area such as Harvard, MIT, Wellesley for campus tours.

American Life
Students will have the opportunity to have a week-long stay experience placed with families in the neighborhood. This will give them the opportunity for practice sessions with Americans while enjoying the typical life in an American family.
