Bed & Breakfast

Comfortable, Affordable Lodging

The Walker House, our showcase home on the campus of The Walker Center for Ecumenical Exchange which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, serves as a Bed and Breakfast for overnight lodging. This stately home perched at the corner of Hancock and Grove Streets in historic Auburndale, Massachusetts has been welcoming guests from around the world for more than 146 years.

There is a gracious Old World charm about the Walker House. Our founder’s portrait hangs above the fireplace in the living room, and the morning sun streams through the windows of the dining room. Our modestly appointed sleeping rooms are tucked away on our second and third floors where there are nine two-bedroom suites with private baths and two single rooms with a shared bath. The Walker House rooms are used primarily as lodging for retreat and conference attendees, but when there is availability, we welcome guests who seek short-term refuge for personal retreat, reflection, contemplation, and study.
